Due to continued growth, Dixon Hughes PLLC is currently seeking a Business Development Executive (BDE) for the Atlanta region to join us.



Job Description: The regional Business Development Executive (BDE) contributes to the top-line growth of the region (i.e., practice unit) by initiating, qualifying, developing and expanding targeted client relationships. This is done by generating leads, developing opportunities, and contributing to the region’s overall development efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•• Drives a high volume of qualified leads with targeted clients, prospects and referral sources.
•• Develops opportunities with target clients by initiating leads directly and supporting leads initiated by others.
•• Maintains a current working knowledge of the firm’s comprehensive service portfolio. Represents the full offering and works with clients to match services to their needs.
•• Transfers sales knowledge and skills to others in the region; assists the region’s professionals with their business development activities.
•• Facilitates the sales process and related programs/protocol to support firm reporting and foster a business development culture.
•• Assists in managing the regional sales pipeline and ensuring proper protocol for notifications and proposal development.
•• Collaborates effectively with region members, as well as members of the various other geographic, industry and service-line practices, other BDEs, and the marketing team.

BENCHMARKS FOR EVALUATION

The compensation for this position includes an incentive component that is designed to promote growth objectives and reward achievement of desired results:
•• High volume of won revenue from BDE-originated opportunities
•• High volume of won revenue from BDE-assisted opportunities
•• New or recurring revenue generated from BDE-acquired clients

Requirements: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
•• Strong track record of sales, preferably in a professional services environment
•• A professional network, including contacts with prospective clients and referral sources is preferred.
•• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); able to effectively deal with and sell to high-level executives
•• Demonstrated skill in all facets of sales process (prospecting, nurturing, negotiating, closing).
•• Proven ability to collaboratively team with highly credentialed service delivery professionals to nourish relationships and close sales
•• Professional, polished appearance and demeanor
•• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of sales experience
